Maybe it's because I'm a dumb male, but...
"What do you want for Christmas?"
"...Nothing, Minoru."
"No, seriously. I want to buy you something for Christmas."
"Nothing, seriously. I want nothing."
"... Is this a hint to tell me that I am supposed to know what you want for Christmas?"
"...Gah, I don't know why, but I have a feeling that it's something expensive."
".....How expensive?"
"Just pay attention and you'll know."
"You're just messing with my mind, aren't you?"
"....Maybe? ...Okay, yes, I am."

My spur of the moment thought was "'I want nothing' really means 'I want nothing'."

Is it just me or I fail pretty badly?

Ahaha, I'd be the same way. I'd still buy them something, but I'd have no idea what it should be.

People who say they want nothing frustrate me to no end. How on earth will you ever know you bought the right thing! Unless they suddenly start being totally obvious about it...

Then my sister must frustrate you to no end. She says that all the time. Though, she means it. Weirdo.

Women are strange. ;D

I'm still trying to find out what to buy my own sister for her birthday. What do you get a girl for her 12th birthday these days...

Good one. Though I think she already has it. Argh.

Ah well, I'll think of something and so will you. ♥

I don't know... when twinnie and I were 12, she'd receive jewelry and fashion-y things, because 12 years old girls go toward the cause of the tsunami of tweens at my job path of teenage fashion.

Yes, let's do our best!

My sis is a country girl XD I don't think she's very much into jewellery and that kind of stuff yet.

That's my baby. Guess that's why it's better to just give without asking if there's something you want. ^.^vv

The things I want are things from home, and not even really anything special. I live in a country where I can buy myself the things I want so it's hard to ask for things (which is why I always end up requesting foods and such).
